Synthetic Vision And Lots Of Flying Here In Sebring

Well after some weather blew through yesterday, there were airplanes all over the sky here in Sebring today. I think everybody who didn’t fly in yesterday, arrived today, all at once. It was a real busy day with airplanes overhead and lots of noise from the race track having us wondering what cars are making the laps over there. There was a little fog this morning, and yesterday a tornado was moving through north of us. So when the weather improved we were excited to get flying again.

The MC has been getting lots of attention as this is the first chance for most to fly the airplane. More on that below. But the CTLS is also getting a lot of attention because it is the first SLSA to feature synthetic vision! The CTLS now features an optional Dynon Skyview PFD which surprised a lot of people who weren’t expecting to see synthetic vision in an LSA. We’re excited to offer the amazing technology, and it just shows once again that the industry leading Flight Design aircraft are very capable aircraft and offer pilots a lot more than just a simple, efficient airplane. Check out a demo video from Dynon below.
