Will be doing the demos:
Addison, Denton & Dallas Executive airports in the Dallas Ft Worth area are hosting the
2011 Dallas Ft Worth LSA tour. Aircraft  will be on display and demonstration flights
available at each of the locations. Bill Canino of Sportair USA, one of the participants
said “Not everyone interested in purchasing a plane can attend one of the larger shows
each year. The LSA Tours have been a great way to showcase these aircraft to a much
more localized and interested audience”. “This is the ideal format for people to check
out the top ten LSA’s without  the pressure or hassle of  a national show” said Randy
Schlitter of Rans Aircraft. “In fact, it’s probably the best format to see all the main LSA

FLIGHT DESIGN ANNOUNCES POWERPLANT FOR C4 Certified Four Seat Model to Use Continental IO-360-AF Engine

Leinfelden-Echterdingen, GERMANY / 26 September 2011 -Flight Design announced that Continental Motors’ new IO-360-AF has been selected as the engine for the company’s four seat C4 entry currently under development. delivery-of-ctleTHE CTLE CTLE Is Special “Law Enforcement” Version of CTLS Light-Sport Aircraft

Leinfelden-Echterdingen, GERMANY / 8 September 2011 – On August 24th, 2011, David Williams, Sergeant (Captain, Retired), of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department traveled to Flight USA headquarters in Woodstock, Connecticut to pick up the department’s new CTLE. He and Lt. Marsh Carter accepted the keys (photo) and flew the CTLE back to California.

“The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department will be the first agency in the U.S. to put a Light-Sport Aircraft into full time service in support of Patrol, just as many agencies do with a helicopter,” observed Williams. “Flight Design was selected not only for its commitment to provide a low-cost, turn-key law enforcement aviation platform, but also based on overall safety in design, from benign stall characteristics to the ballistic parachute system. Safety for our officers and our residents is always our number one priority.”
